Ink in the City
October 15, 2011
Watch out! Chicago Printmakers Collaborative (CPC) is joining forces with Chicago Printers Guild (CPG), and it just might get messy! The potential for ink madness is bound to be huge, and expect a bit of it to migrate home with you (under your fingernails). CPG member work will be exhibited throughout the whole month of October (at CPC and Hilary's Cookies), and a series of participatory demonstrations of screen printing and relief printmaking on October 15th will inspire visitors to get their own hands dirty and join the inkclub. The fun will last into the early evening, with live music and milk and cookies, all home made right here in Chicago.
About the Chicago Printers Guild: CPG supports and fosters the work of printers of all backgrounds with opportunities to share knowledge, information and ideas among printers and the printing community. The Guild strives to bring awareness of the printmaking taking place in Chicago to the community at large in the city and beyond. www.chicagoprintersguild.net
